A log cabin  built in the 1960s, on one of the 3300 islands on Lake Inari. This is the only property on the island, there are no other cabins, houses, or whatsoever. You are alone in peace. Here, you will have to get your own water from the well or the lake. Chop some firewood. Start a fire. But you will surely have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is a unique opportunity to experience a true Finnish way of living.

Munhaissaari Wilderness Cabin

Munhaissaari Wilderness Cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and a fridge and a dishwashing sink that is in use in the Summer. There are boardgames to play and books to read and a full island to discover both in Summer and Winter. The traditional Finnish sauna offers the best possible way to relax after a full day of exploring and the crystal clear lake will provide you both with fish to eat, fresh drinking water and a place to swim on the nightless nights of Summer.

The cabin has four beds and is best suited either for families with two children or for groups of friends. The 220V solar-powered electricity system will keep your devices connected from late February until late October. You can rent a motorboat in the Summer and a snowmobile in the Winter to get the full experience and to get the freedom of moving around the endless lake.
