A Traditional Log Cabin on the Shores of Lake Inari
Vuono Lakeside Cabin is a traditional Finnish log cabin located on the peaceful shores of Lake Inari in Finnish Lapland, just 15 km from the village of Ivalo.
In addition to the main cabin, the property includes six smaller log cabins, accommodating up to 20 guests in total. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or a place for a larger group to stay together, Vuono offers a unique setting in the heart of Lapland.

A Peaceful Stay by the Lake
The main cabin accommodates two guests and offers beautiful views over Lake Inari throughout the year. Electricity and electric heating are available year-round, while the fireplace creates a warm and cosy atmosphere on cooler evenings.
During your stay, you also have access to a traditional wood-heated lakeside sauna. After a relaxing sauna, you can cool off with a swim in the crystal-clear lake or simply enjoy the peace and silence from the shore.
Activities Throughout the Year
Every season offers something unique at Lake Inari.
From early September until the beginning of April, the area is one of the best places in Finnish Lapland to see the Northern Lights, thanks to the complete absence of light pollution.
During winter, you can enjoy snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing, or simply explore the frozen landscape. In summer, Lake Inari is perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, berry picking, and mushroom foraging.

Additional Cabins for Larger Groups
The six additional log cabins make Vuono an excellent choice for larger families, groups of friends, fishing trips, retreats, or private events.
Each cabin is equipped with a kitchenette including cooking utensils, a coffee maker, and an electric kettle. The cabins have bunk beds with pillows and blankets provided. Bed linen and towels are available as an optional extra.
Guests staying in the smaller cabins have access to two outdoor dry toilets and fresh drinking water from a nearby natural spring. All cabins have electric heating and 220V electricity throughout the year.
Private During Winter, Shared During Summer
1 November – 31 May
From 1 November until 31 May, the entire property is reserved exclusively for your booking. Whether you stay in the main cabin only or rent additional cabins, you and your group will have the whole property to yourselves.
1 June – 31 October
From 1 June until 31 October, other guests may also stay in the cabins on the property. During this period, the lakeside sauna and the traditional grill hut are shared between all guests staying at Vuono.
